ULAA INAUGURAL RAKES IN OVER $ 14,000 AS KESSELLY EXTENDS THANKS

The National President of the Union of Liberian Associations in the Americas (ULAA), Mr. Anthony V. Kesselly is expressing the Union’s profound gratitude to all the wonderful people who jammed-packed the Saint Cyprian Catholic Church community Hall for the historic ULAA Inaugural Dinner/Dance on March 14, 2009.

The Union President says he and his corps of officers were utterly overwhelmed with joy over the incredible number of personalities and organization representatives who turned out to grace the occasion. ULAA, he said, will remain grateful for this show of support, he predicts will go a long way in rekindling the Union’s spirit and zeal to forge ahead.

Mr. Kesselly paid special tribute to Mrs. Edith Walters-Wilson and her remarkable team of Inaugural Ball Committee members who he said appeared to have worked wonders to pull this off in such a splendid manner.

In the meantime, the National Treasurer of ULAA, Mr. Emmanuel N. Togba, has disclosed that preliminary assessment indicates that the Ball raked in an unsurpassed amount of the upwards of $ 14,000.00. He says payments are still streaming in from outstanding tickets and advertisements.

The Saturday, March 14, Inaugural Ball hit the record books when the hall became filled to capacity making availability of additional seating very difficult.

The Inaugural Ball Committee is currently compiling its report for onward transmission to the office of the National President, from where it will be submitted to the National Administration for review.
