THE HOME GOING OF MRS. CHRISTIANA MUNAH MITCHELL- PONEYS (“MA PONEYS”)
The Poneys and Mitchell Families announces with profound sadness the home going of the matriarch of the family, Mrs. Christiana Munah Mitchell-Poneys (“Ma Poneys)”, in her 77th year. This sad event occurred on Sunday, August 5, 2007 at her home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She is survived by her husband Mr. George Poneys, Sr., and several children including, Mr. Thurlow Poneys, Lionel Poneys, George Poneys, Jr, Ambrose Poneys; Celestine Poneys, Padma Poneys, Mrs. Verita Poneys-Teah, Ms. Annie Cole, Mr. Garvis Poneys, Ms. Mester Poneys, Mrs. Faustina Poneys-Harris, Mr. Trokon Poneys, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, In-Laws, nephews and relatives.
WAKE KEEPING AND FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS ARE SCHEDULED FOR FRIDAY, AUGUST 17, 2007 AND SATURDAY, AUGUST 18, 2007 RESPECTIVELY.
