Doyen of the National Leadership Council loses father

Bryan’s Road, Maryland (June 12, 2007):-The Union of Liberian Associations in the Americas (ULAA) has received with profound sadness news of the death of Hon. Alfred B. Curtis, Sr.,  the father of the Doyen of the National Leadership Council and President of the Staten Island Liberian Community Association (SILCA), Hon. George “Billy” Curtis.

 

The late Hon. Alfred B. Curtis served the people and Government of Liberia in numerous capacities including Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.

 

Top level ULAA authorities, including National President Emmanuel S. Wettee and National Board Chairman Anthony V. Kesselly have already registered their condolences directly with Doyen Curtis. 

 

National President Wettee is in the same vein calling on members of the National Administration, members of the National Board, the members of the National Leadership Council (NLC), as well as the entire ULAA Family to join him in extending deepest condolences to Doyen Curtis and other members of the bereaved family.
