ULAA SHINES IN THE “CONSTITUTION STATE"

On Saturday, December, 26, 2009, ULAA National President Anthony V. Kesselly, accompanied by a high-level delegation, was in Ansonia, Connecticut, to grace the occasion of the Year-End Celebration hosted by the Liberian Community Association of Connecticut (LCAC).

The Program featured the honoring of a line-up of key personalities who have positively impacted the Connecticut Liberian community, including Former ULAA National President Emmanuel S. Wettee.  Mr. Wettee’s Plaque was received on his behalf by his designee.

A special honor was bestowed upon ULAA President Kesselly, symbolizing the LCAC’s decision, back on October 27, 2009, to fully recognize the results of the ULAA 34th National General Assembly at which the Kesselly-led Administration was ushered into power.  LCAC President Alex Quemorllue, flanked by key officials of his Association, presented the ULAA Chief Executive the Honoring Plaque.  The LCAC leaders then decorated the ULAA Leader with an artfully prepared sash carrying the inscription “ULAA National President.”

The ULAA Leader’s delegation comprised of ULAA Board First Vice Chairman Wilmot W. Kunney, Eastern Regional Vice President Menseh M. Jones, ULAA Presidential Assistant Eric G. Karsor, Former President Bartee C. Togba of the Liberian Association of Pennsylvania, and Interim President Charles Coleman of the University of Liberia Alumni Association.

At the urging of the LCAC Leadership, the ULAA Presidential delegation spent the night in West Haven and was treated to a sumptuous breakfast the following morning before departure.
